Spinning Babies® Parent Educator Class

Prepare your body. Support your baby. Feel more confident for birth.

Spinning Babies® Parent Educator Class

Spinning Babies Logo.png

The Spinning Babies® Parent Class helps expecting parents find comfort in pregnancy and ease in birth. You and your birth partner will learn how to help your baby find the best position for birth—using gentle movement, body balancing, and specific labor positions that create more space in the pelvis for baby’s descent and rotation.

Spinning Babies® highlights that you and your baby are a team—your baby is an active participant in the birth process, not just a passive passenger. When your body and baby work together in harmony, labor can become more efficient, comfortable, and even empowering.

Spinning Babies® focuses on working with your body and your baby not against them.

What You'll Learn

Each in-person class is a fun, hands-on 3-hour experience designed for both you and your birth partner.
You’ll learn how to:

  • Use gentle Daily Activities, accessible prenatal movements to balance your body

  • Practice the 3 Balances—techniques that create balance in the fascia, muscles, and ligaments supporting your uterus and pelvis

  • Explore Belly Mapping® to understand your baby’s position and strengthen your connection with them before birth

  • Practice labor and birth positions that open each level of the pelvis to help baby descend and rotate

  • “Make room for baby” using comfort measures and mindful movement

You’ll leave class feeling confident, supported, and prepared—with handouts and an e-companion guide to help you continue practicing at home.

**Even if you’ve already had an “easy” birth or are planning a cesarean, these techniques can bring more comfort, confidence, and connection to your pregnancy and birth experience.

Why It Works

The Spinning Babies® approach is based on the belief that babies fit the space available—and when the body is balanced and supported, there’s more room for baby to move into an optimal position.

Tight muscles, imbalanced ligaments, or excess tension can sometimes make labor longer or more uncomfortable. Through gentle movement, body awareness, and partner techniques like the 3 Balances, you can help your body and baby work together for a smoother, more supported birth.
